Our mission at Rise Up Dance Center is to provide quality instruction in a safe, uplifting, and inclusive environment. All while remaining a family focused program that aims to make the arts more accessible to those in our community.

The vision of RUDC is to offer classes that allow individuals to pursue their passion no matter their age or ability. By offering programming that will not only build self esteem, strength and character, but will also open the door to a world of creativity and self expression.

Rise Up Dance Center was created under the direction of Christa McGrath. After gaining over 20 years of teaching experience, Christa envisioned creating a family friendly dance, tumbling, and cheer studio to share her passion for the performing arts with children and adults of all ages.
Giving back to the community is a top priority for Christa, and the staff at RUDC. During the year, you will find her and this RUDC family participating in various local events, parades, and community service opportunities.
​Beyond this, a competitive division dance team, Rise Up Dance Company, was also formed to offer students the opportunity to be part of a team, perform in dance competitions, and perform in local community events. This team has earned multiple regional and national titles over the past seven years.
Christa loves being able to provide RUDC students with this additional opportunity to experience the dance industry beyond the traditional classroom experience.
Forming this unique family friendly environment is truly important to Christa as her family is not only supportive of RUDC but her inspiration. Her two daughters, Leah and Keira dance at RUDC and are part of the RUDC dance team and her husband, Justin, works hard to design the studio facility and props as well as cheering on the RUDC dance team.
